The West End Drugs Partnership (WEDP) is a community-led partnership of established community organisations, the Government Office for London, the London Borough of Camden and City of Westminster, the Metropolitan Police Service and relevant voluntary sector organisations. The WEDP has an independent Chair.
Aim
The aim of WEDP is to reduce the impact of drug use and dealing, and to improve the quality of life for those living, working in and visiting the West End of London.
The partnership is unique in that it has a "cross-border" focus. Its formation is the result of community organisations lobbying local and central statutory bodies to reduce the impact of drugs in the area.
